The Role: We're looking for a seasoned Email Marketing Manager to lead our strategy across email and SMS. This is a high-impact role focused on driving engagement, LTV, retention, and reactivation. You'll work closely with our team to set the direction for our lifecycle channels, execute key flows and campaigns in support of driving growth. This is a full-time, hybrid position (3 days per week in our NYC office), reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000.
We have a market-based compensation structure. The salary for this position may vary based on a candidate's experience, industry expertise, technical skills, and location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Audit our current email and SMS marketing strategy, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, and performance
- Develop a roadmap to improve lifecycle performance across onboarding, upsell, win-back, and reactivation flows
- Own end-to-end execution of email campaigns: segmentation, creative briefing, A/B testing, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with creative, product, and CX teams to align on messaging and customer journeys
- Develop templates and testing strategies for newsletters and promotional sends
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize for key metrics (open rate, CTR, CVR, unsubscribe rate, revenue per send)
- Provide insights and recommendations on new flows, campaigns, or tools as we scale
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of email marketing experience, ideally in health, wellness, e-commerce, and/or subscription-based businesses
- Strong analytical skills with experience owning LTV, retention, or reactivation KPIs
- Deep experience with Customer.io (preferred) or similar ESPs
- Strong understanding of lifecycle flows, segmentation, and performance analytics
- Strategic mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude-you're as comfortable crafting a flow as designing the roadmap
- Excellent writing instincts and creative sensibility
- Bonus: Familiarity with wellness, telehealth, or regulated industries
