ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our team at a critical and exciting time for the company. In this role, you'll lead the company's legal function, including managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's growth and business objectives with expert legal guidance. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Corporate Counsel to join our team at a critical and exciting time for the company. In this role, you'll lead the company's legal function, including managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's growth and business objectives with expert legal guidance. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Near-term focus areas for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to business leaders on decision-making and risk management
- Draft, review and negotiate a range of important legal documents and contracts, including payer contracts, vendor contracts, service agreements, employment agreements, etc.
- Advise business leaders on risk management
- Assist in developing internal policies, training materials, and guidance documents
- Effectively leverage outside counsel for complex issues when required
- Improve company's inventory of form agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, etc.
- Keep business leaders informed about pertinent legal and regulatory developments in the industry
- Ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree
- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Experience in contracts, risk management strategy, and employment law
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in one or more jurisdictions in the U.S.
- 4-6 years experience in private practice and/or in-house corporate legal department
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in healthcare regulation and compliance, privacy, and transactions a plus
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory landscape, including Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, as well as HIPAA, and other data privacy regulations
