Job Description
This role will be based in Mountain View, San Francisco, New York or Chicago.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Sr. Manager to join our Business Development team to develop and grow LinkedIn's largest & most strategic payment partnerships. In this role, you will be the lead point of contact across LinkedIn's business lines, collaborating closely with internal and external partners to develop key relationships with payment partners such as acquirers, financial institutions & payment processors; negotiate deals, and ensure ease of doing business on LinkedIn.
As LinkedIn enables and creates economic opportunity for the global workforce, this individual will ensure best in class payment experience for LI Members. This role is integral in creating and executing towards LinkedIn's global payment strategy.

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. - Payments strategy development with cross functional partners.
- Identifying, crafting, and executing growth opportunities with partners and cross functional teams
- Managing and growing existing integrations, including key optimizations and regulatory / compliance concerns
- Implementing strategies for long term relationship development at executive levels
- Providing a strategic business and partnership perspective to the Product and Engineering teams including developing a joint roadmap
- Educating cross functional teams on payment capabilities and initiatives which can help the company achieve its goals and objectives
Responsibilities:
- Payments strategy and planning, focused on growing existing relationships, integrations, and deals
- Work closely with internal cross-functional leaders in product, legal, engineering, finance, and more to effectively communicate updates and successfully manage escalations
- Identify & develop new partnership opportunities, communicating them effectively internally and externally
- Reporting and measurement: Manage process for and approach to tracking partner and program impact
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years experience in high-touch, senior partner management, product partnership, or business development roles
- 6+ years of direct experience in payments, financial services, card issuing, and disbursements, with a clear track record of driving payments, financial technology or financial services partnerships.
- Quantitative background (STEM degree, prior analytics work experience, etc.).
- Experience driving high volume international payment strategy for subscriptions and enterprise businesses.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and operating with creativity in compliance framework.
- Ability to quantitatively estimate the impact of new opportunities, and gather data to refine your impact.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous business scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing and leading complex and multi-faceted payment programs partnerships at global scale
- Expert use of data-driven approaches to develop new partnerships, initiatives, and lines of business
- Direct experience driving and executing on strategy to grow and optimize partnerships at multiple levels
- Experience working with global teams across complex lines of business, including subscriptions/recurring payments
- Project management experience, such as launch and management of key initiatives with cross functional teams
- Comfortable working independently under deadlines to produce key deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills; including presentation
