26485 - Technical Sales Representative - Chicago

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be based near Chicago. This person will have a proven track record of sales success and will be technically strong in immunoassays, multiplex, ELISA, western blot, etc. They will be responsible for calling on academic, biopharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts. Additional responsibilities include managing and growing existing accounts and prospecting for new business.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field
• Life science sales experience
• Technical background (ideally in protein immunoassays, multiplex, immunoassay, Elisa, protein, etc.)
• Strong prospector and hunter. Experienced in funnel management
• Proven sales accomplishments
• Team player
• Strong presentation, analytical, and customer service skills complimented by an aggressive and solutions-oriented track record
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Based near Chicago
