About the Role
As a Financial Reporting Business Analyst - Regulatory Change Management, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting processes. You will collaborate with process owners, business lines, and data owners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while optimizing efficiency. Your expertise will guide the development of IT solutions, define data requirements, and create business rules to meet regulatory needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Regulatory Reporting process owners to understand business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze tools and systems used for regulatory reporting and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather and document business requirements, preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop solutions that align with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Define Testing Strategy and Test Plans, review testing artifacts, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Lead efforts to test, train, and implement new or improved regulatory processes.
- Perform financial data analysis to support various regulatory reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in Business Analysis and Data Analysis within financial services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience supporting multiple enterprise system implementations as a Business Analyst.
- SQL knowledge for data analysis.
- Background in Financial Regulatory Reporting.
- Financial Product and Data Analysis experience, working with large datasets (Transactional and Reference Data).
- Nasdaq Axiom Configuration experience (3-5 years in Web version).
- Understanding of US regulatory reporting packages such as CCAR (14M, Q), Y9C, 101, Call Reports, Basel, etc.
- Experience eliciting requirements from users and preparing Business and Functional Requirements documentation.
- Strong knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and test plan development.
