POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Sales and Marketing is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our senior living facility. This role involves building and nurturing relationships to generate referrals, increasing facility awareness, and managing the sales process to meet occupancy targets. The Director will plan and execute sales and marketing strategies, while maintaining a deep understanding of regional trends and competitive dynamics to inform and optimize our approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and implement creative strategies to convert leads into move-ins and achieve maximum occupancy.

2. Conduct facility tours, effectively presenting the benefits and features of the facility.

3. Drive move-ins to meet and exceed monthly occupancy budget goals.

4. Engage in external committees and boards to support business development and raise facility awareness.

5. Perform bi-annual competitive analysis to understand market positioning and adjust strategies accordingly.

6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.

7. Generate, nurture, and manage leads and maintain comprehensive lead documentation.

8. Partner with facility-based providers to promote and lease facility spaces.

9. Oversee and participate in facility outreach events to enhance visibility and engagement.

10. Develop, organize, and execute strategic marketing plans to drive facility growth.

11. Lead and coordinate outreach events, presentations, and marketing initiatives for seniors, their families, and local professionals.

12. Prepare and assemble effective marketing materials to support promotional activities.

13. Plan and execute pre-opening marketing events to build anticipation and interest.

14. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly facility meetings to ensure alignment and integration of sales and marketing efforts.

15. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential residents and their families, providing excellent customer service throughout the move-in process.

16. Facilitate smooth transitions for new residents, coordinating with other departments as needed.

17. Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and protecting residents' rights.

18. Maintain and manage the database system for lead tracking and follow-up.

19. Supervise and manage the sales and marketing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

20. Performs other related duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the senior living facility industry preferred.

3. Proven expertise in strategic sales and marketing planning.Health care or hospital marketing experience preferred.

4. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

5. Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative content and campaigns.

6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to adjust priorities, meet deliverables and deadlines and multitask.

8. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

9. Strong analytical, project management, and program development skills.

10. Able to adhere to and meet project deadlines, as expected.
