Amazon seeks a Senior Program Manager for the Advantage business to drive new initiatives and develop insights from business data to drive the program forward.

This Senior Program Manager should excel in communication, are self-motivated, adaptable, and possess strong prioritization abilities, as this role combines strong analytical abilities, relationship building skills and superb project management capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

In this exciting role, you'll working closely with talented teams in Vendor Management, Operations and Tech to track and improve critical business inputs. Your analytical expertise and keen problem-solving skills will allow you to drive meaningful progress across a variety of high-impact areas:
Own the discussions for Advantage vendor availability, supply chain inputs and financial outputs - you'll be the go-to expert, ensuring our operations are optimized for maximum effectiveness.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and vendor teams to streamline processes, enhance vendor experience, and drive innovative initiatives.
Partner with finance, BI, and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain robust metrics - your insights will uncover new business opportunities for growth and guide the overall trajectory of the program.
Inform key stakeholders and provide recommendations to leadership on the Advantage business through your data-driven analysis.

About the team

Advantage is a consignment program that enables book publishers, authors, musicians, filmmakers, studios, and other media content creators to list their products on Amazon and reach millions of customers around the world. Advantage provides vendors with a simple and efficient way to have a direct sourcing relationship with Amazon: they ship products in to Amazon Fulfillment Centers and then Amazon handles the storage, packing, and shipping of orders to end customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
