BlueHalo is seeking a System Administrator to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You'll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $195,000

BlueHalo is seeking a System Administrator to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You'll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.
You like to do this:
- Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution
- Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure
- Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems
- Support vulnerability management using Nessus
- Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation
- Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters
- Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes
- Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback
You are required to have this:
- 15 years of system administration experience (or 10 years experience with a technical degree)
- Strong RedHat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and STE/STN initiatives
- Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments
- an active TS/SCI with Polygraph (current within the last 5 years)
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Latte Art, Biscotti, and XACTA
- Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning
