Description:
Engineer-RF - III IBWave Certification or practical experience with IBWave Max
-You will be part of the National In-building PMO RF Design team interfacing with submarket teams, enterprise sales teams and senior leadership teams.
-You will help build the foundation that keeps Telecommunication in front of the competition.
-You will be designing, managing the implementation of enterprise in-building projects and distributed antenna systems.
-These projects require interaction at the Director/VP level and development of Executive dashboards and presentations.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- IBWave Certification and practical experience with IBWave
- Extensive knowledge of FCC Emissions and RF Safety guidelines
- Proficient on RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster/Roofview - Expert in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data for Nortel, Client, and/or Nokia infrastructure
- Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field.
- This individual needs to be experienced in RF Design for Indoor Systems.
- Experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems required
- Expertise with prediction and Mapping tools (Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, Windcatcher)
- An in-depth understanding of the various aspects of the RF Engineering elements that affect the decisions they are making or recommending
- An end-to-end understanding of the systems they are making decisions on and the technologies that are driving them
- A firm grasp and hands-on knowledge of the tools they are using as well as understand the range and limitations of those tools
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
- Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
- Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
JOB DUTIES:
- Support the National InBuilding team in reviewing InBuilding designs (in iBwave format) and completing the required RF paperwork per project.
- Filing 911 and regulatory paperwork for all projects assigned to you
- Team up with experienced RF Design engineers to manage projects throughout the country
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry
- 2 to 3 years of experience in RF Design
LOGISTICS: - Work Hours: 8am - 5pm as per your timezone.
