Description:
Reporting to the Senior Information Systems Manager within the Information Technology (IT) department the Business Analytics Manager leads business intelligence initiatives to support data-driven decision-making and organizational strategy. This role oversees the development, optimization, and governance of data management systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure alignment with business goals and industry standards. The Manager partners with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business models, objectives, and challenges, leveraging KPIs, performance metrics, industry trends, and customer insights to provide actionable analytics. In addition to managing analytics projects and pipelines, the Manager builds and mentors a high-performing team with expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytical methodologies. This role also plays a key role in developing standards and practices for data collection, reporting, and analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI), ensuring report accuracy, performance, and alignment with business objectives. Guide the team's execution and resolve escalated issues as needed.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of data pipelines and ETL processes. Ensure data flow supports scalability, efficiency, and long-term analytics needs, while maintaining strategic oversight for continuous improvement.
- Drive improvements to data systems, including refining Change Data Capture (CDC) workflows and transitioning Tableau reports to new data sources. Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Lead and manage key data initiatives aligned with business cycles, assigning tasks to the team and ensuring deliverables (e.g., bookings accuracy, product assortment reporting) meet organizational standards and deadlines.
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for a team of BI analysts and programmers. Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and mentor team members to foster growth and support autonomy. Ensure accountability for deliverables while providing guidance and coaching when needed.
- Collaborate with IT, offshore teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the alignment and efficiency of data strategies. Act as a point of escalation for issue resolution, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Promote knowledge sharing by overseeing documentation, training, and knowledge transfer efforts. Empower team members to lead these initiatives while ensuring consistency and completeness.
- Maintain accountability for the operational stability of reporting systems, stepping in to troubleshoot critical issues and ensure data integrity, particularly for critical business functions like Power BI archive data.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and proactively resolve problems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- 5-10 years of experience working with JD Edwards (JDE) and data management systems, including deep knowledge of JDE data structures, extraction methods, and integration with BI platforms.
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a BI Programmer, Analyst, or in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and data analysis, including building complex reports, dashboards, and performing data modeling and performance tuning.
- Extensive experience managing cloud migration projects, integrating and optimizing data within cloud-based data lakes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated maturity in judgment, commitment, dependability, and punctuality, with a strong adherence to deadlines.
- Proven ability to achieve results both independently and through collaboration, fostering teamwork and cooperation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across email, chat, and phone channels.
- Flexible work schedule, with availability for weekends, early mornings, and late evenings as needed.
