This role ensures high performance, reliability, and security across our systems while driving operational excellence and scalability.

We're looking for a hands-on cloud expert with a strong background in Operations, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). We are looking for someone who excels in automation, security-first cloud strategies, and leading high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support across AEGIS Transformation & Day-To-Day Operations.
- Define and execute the cloud infrastructure strategy to support enterprise applications and business growth.
- Lead a team of Systems, DevOps, Database, and SRE Engineers to optimize cloud performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop and enforce cloud best practices, automation frameworks, and security first principles.
- Conduct architecture reviews, lead technical discussions, and troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) for seamless deployments, automation, and version control.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or similar) to ensure high availability (99.9% uptime).
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage cloud costs, including budgeting, resource optimization, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC-2, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Manage cloud security infrastructure, including IAM, VPC, VPN, IDS/IPS, Key Management, and WAF solutions.
- Implement and maintain backup, high-availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce access controls, threat detection, and incident response.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, automation, and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product, and security teams, to align cloud initiatives with business goals.
- Establish performance metrics and best practices to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, operations, and DevOps/SRE leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or CISSP.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- CI/CD & Automation: Proficiency in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, New Relic, or similar.
- Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of IAM, VPN, VPC, IDS/IPS, Key Management, and industry regulations.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Experience implementing HA and DR strategies for business continuity.
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Go, Bash, or other scripting languages.
- Strong financial acumen for cloud cost optimization.
