Summary
The IT Manager -- Infrastructure is responsible for the team that will implement, maintain, and upgrade organization-wide computer systems, including but not limited to client computers/smart phones, servers and networking equipment.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain information technology strategies and advise on adjustments and improvements.
- Lead the organization to apply technology solutions that improve efficiency and productivity in each team member's role while enabling effective group collaboration.
- Maintain an effective organization that provides troubleshooting support and kaizen activity for all technology provided to the organization.
- Continuously analyze current processes, technologies and third-party service providers to identify areas of improvement.
- Prepare cost benefit analysis reports when upgrades are necessary.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery procedure and maintain data backups.
- Establish project goals for IT team with follow-up to ensure targets for feature/functionality, quality, delivery and cost are met.
- Coach, mentor and train IT staff members.
- Work directly with area managers across the organization to establish clear requirements and expectations for IT support. Ensure policies and internal controls are followed.
- Work directly with the business to establish consolidated processes that enhance business quality and contribute to strengthening the business systems.
- Manage outsourcing contracts with third-party providers
- Utilize EDR, SOC and CSIRT teams to manage all phases of a cybersecurity incident including preparation, detection, analysis, containment, eradication and recovery.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field from a four-year college, university or technical school
- 5+ years experience in IT Management
Special Skills:
- Experience with VMWare, SAN storage, AWS / Azure cloud services, Cloud technology (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Microsoft 365, Fortinet, Cisco networking, Meraki access points, enterprise wireless/firewalls/network access control, MS Windows Server O/S, MS Windows 11, Linux O/S, MS Active Directory / Entra ID, enterprise backup solutions.
- Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong creative and analytical thinking
Certificates, Licensees, Registrations:
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate; VMWare VCP, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, PMP, ITIL, CompTIA Security+ certification
