Jimmy Fairly was born in Paris in 2010 with a mission to shake up the optical world: well-designed, high-quality glasses at fair prices-with a strong commitment to social impact.

Today, we have over 160 stores across Europe and the UK, and we're growing fast-opening 30 new locations each year. Our model is simple and powerful: fresh collections every six weeks, short-circuit manufacturing, and a seamless, style-driven customer journey.

In partnership with Restoring Vision, we donate a pair of glasses for every one sold-because good vision should be a right, not a luxury.

Now, for the first time ever, we're launching in the U.S.
Our very first flagship store will open in New York City in September 2025, and we're looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial leader to help us write the next chapter.

The Role

As our Flagship / Area Manager, you won't just run our first NYC store-you'll be the face of Jimmy Fairly in the US retail market.
This is a unique opportunity to build a brand from the ground up and shape what Jimmy Fairly looks like across the U.S.

You'll lead our flagship team day-to-day and serve as a key liaison between HQ in Paris and local operations, ensuring brand consistency, driving results, and laying the foundation for our future stores in the U.S.

Your Mission

Customer Experience
  • Be the ultimate Jimmy Fairly ambassador in-store-lead by example with energy, warmth, and deep product knowledge.
  • Train and empower your team to deliver a world-class, personalized experience-from eyewear styling to optical services.
  • Build customer loyalty and community around the brand.

Commercial & Operational Leadership
  • Own store performance: monitor KPIs, track sales, identify opportunities, and drive results.
  • Support store openings and oversee operations in future U.S. locations.
  • Ensure retail excellence by maintaining VM standards, optimizing inventory, and managing store processes.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and compliance with local regulations.

Team Development
  • Hire, coach, and develop your team with clear goals, training plans, and regular feedback.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and challenged.
  • Spot talent and growth potential within your team and prepare them for leadership roles.

Retail Expansion & Strategy
  • Act as our local expert for the U.S. retail landscape: share insights, suggest improvements, and anticipate challenges.
  • Collaborate with the HQ Retail and Expansion teams to roll out brand and operational strategies in the U.S.
  • Be the "go-to" person on the ground as we scale.

What We're Looking For
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Store Manager
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for retail and fashion.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of retail KPIs and how to activate them.
  • A love for eyewear, style, and helping people feel good.
  • You're proactive, flexible, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus, not a must!)
