Summary: Attorneys designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC (the "Firm") as Equity Members will join a supportive working environment with a firm having a national platform while handling sophisticated matters for some of the nation's largest and most innovative companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Equity Member at the Firm include, but are not limited to:

  • Market the Firm to outside companies;
  • Directly manage client billing;
  • Train and mentor Associate Attorneys on researching all aspects of client representation and management;
  • Manage all client legal processes (e.g. intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, compliance issues, transactions, agreements, lawsuits, patents);
  • Research, anticipate and guard clients against legal risks;
  • Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents;
  • Represent client in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.);
  • Negotiate deals and attend client meetings
  • Establish minimum required WAR and BAR revenue for 3 consecutive years.


  • Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required:

    Attorneys must have worked a minimum of 5 years as an Associate Attorney or a combined 5 years as an Associate Attorney or Judicial Clerk.

    Attorneys must possess strong analytic, writing, negotiation and communication skills.

    Working Conditions:

    Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
