This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We're revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.
As the Marketing Specialist, Pharmacy Marketing you will focus on engaging patients, pharmacists and corporate partners of the Retail Pharmacy channel to provide access, onboarding and ongoing support to patients living with Diabetes.

The Opportunity

As the Marketing Specialist, Pharmacy Marketing you will focus on engaging patients, pharmacists and corporate partners of the Retail Pharmacy channel to provide access, onboarding and ongoing support to patients living with Diabetes.
What You'll Work On
- Lead strategy and execution of excellent brand presence at x5 Pharmacy and Retail Trade shows a year.
- Manage the Trade Team budget to ensure minimum variation vs plan.
- Lead patient facing tactics (SMS refill reminders, bag tags) through pharmacy to drive retention or new starts.
- Represent the needs of the Retail Pharmacy Marketing team in product launches/updates core teams.
- Shape key tactics and collateral to communicate new product launches and product updates through the Retail Pharmacy channel.
- Define the strategy and execution of educational content for pharmacy platforms.
- Support National Account Managers define tactics to drive new starts and recommendation through wholesalers and regional retailers.
- Manage MLR approval and maintenance of all owned assets.
- Lead relationship with partner vendors and creative agencies: shape scope, ensure timely delivery to high standards and accurate billing.
- Shape in partnership with the Global Market Insights team the Pharmacist annual tracker and tailored pieces of research to answer key business questions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Three years previous marketing experience, specifically pharmacy marketing
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and analysis of market conditions and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Retail experience a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills able to draw conclusions from data, management information and trends.
- Ability to learn a new subject quickly.
- Sound time management skills, highly organized, and committed to achieving goals.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and excel in highly collaborative environments.
