We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager for the Home Improvement Group (HIG) business's strategic supply chain team. This role will will thrive at solving complex supply chain and inventory management challenges across HIG's different businesess, including Lawn & Garden, Home Improvement, Tools, and Major Appliances.

This Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for developing and managing various initiatives focused on how we maximize our access to supply, optimize our inventory sourcing strategies, and improve our cost-to-serve. They will use data to influence others, invent, and build scalable solutions.

Successful candidates will have exceptional data extraction and analytical capabilities, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. They will have strong business judgement, good instincts, and the ability to think ahead. They are able to self-manage competing priorities, and drive both strategic inititives across multiple stakeholders. They will be able to lead and influence others in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Key job responsibilities

- Owning solutions to help define specializing buying problems that will scale across multiple businesses.

- Driving recommendations to optimize sourcing strategies for HIG, inclusive of long-lead buying and planning for seasonal businesses.

- Anticipating and resolving strategic issues in order to deliver results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience as a product manager or owner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

- MBA

- Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement

- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
