We are looking for a Supervisor to lead our Toronto-area based Operations team for PSA Canada. In this role, you will lead all end to end production and logistics for PSA, from the time that collectibles arrive to our facility, to how they are received, processed, and ultimately shipped. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead the Operations team in our rapidly expanding global network. Along the journey you will contribute to building a world class Operations organization, delighting collectors every step of the way.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and will work from our Mississauga, Ontario office.

What You'll Do:
  • Supervise the staffing, training, and scheduling of department personnel.
  • Monitor staff productivity and assign tasks as needed.
  • Create and maintain departmental structure, morale and sense of team.
  • Develop production goals and ensure that goals are met.
  • Plan employee schedules to meet daily operations goals.
  • Develop staff skills and create a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
  • Create effective solutions for issues that arise within the Department.
  • Ensure that all team members are using the appropriate resources to identify items.
  • Actively devise strategies to maintain acceptable service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed and devise techniques to improve team efficiency.
  • Implement improvements to keep error percentage to a minimum.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for team members.
  • Interact with our third-party partner; strong customer facing communication and support.
  • Safely handle and account for valuable merchandise, ensuring its security and proper handling throughout all process stages.
  • Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security.

Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in a fulfillment, manufacturing (or related role) environment and 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • 2+ years managing 3rd party client relationships or working in a customer/client facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel to other sites (minimal to occasional).
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including an ability to understand and relay company policies/procedures.
  • Dependable and personable team player who works well with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven problem solver with an understanding of general business implications of decisions.
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment with little room for error.
  • Influential leader who can inspire/motivate others and effectively drive change within the department.
  • Strong project management and planning/organizational skills; ability to develop and execute realistic action plans.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within trading cards, tickets and other forms of sports and non-sports collectibles.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 (CAD). Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
