Overview:
INTECON is seeking a skilled Process/Industrial Engineer to provide technical engineering support to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) at Davis-Monthan AFB. This position is part of a broader requirement to augment and advise the organic AMARG engineering team. The contractor will support the development and implementation of process orders, facilities engineering projects, industrial process control (IPC), and engineering change management in alignment with Air Force guidance.
The engineering processes shall be in accordance with AFSCMAN 21-102_OO-ALCSUP, AFSCI 21-402, and other applicable publications related to Depot Maintenance Management and Industrial Process Control.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering services and technical advice on the function and optimization of the AMARG "Production Machine."
- Support design, analysis, and monitoring of production workflows, including layout of equipment, materials, and workspaces to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of industrial processes to develop process orders in accordance with AFSCMAN 21-102.
- Collaborate with government personnel and leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives across AMARG operations.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Industrial Engineering best practices and Engineering Change processes.
- Active SECRET or Interim SECRET security clearance is required at the time of application.
- Top Secret clearance is preferred and may be required for future tasking.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or other related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the engineering field.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct process research and technical analysis.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to operate within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) maintenance or production programs.
- Familiarity with depot-level maintenance processes, engineering documentation systems, and military technical orders is strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent process improvement credentials are highly desired.
