Job Summary
The Referral Relationship Manager will report to the Executive Director of Marketing. Successful candidates will have experience in veterinary health and an ease with cultivating business-to-business partnerships. The Referral Relationship Manager (RRM) will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with Angell's referring veterinarians through soliciting and acting on feedback, raising awareness of Angell's service offerings, and arranging on-site visits and continuing education at referring practices with Angell's specialists. If the thought of sitting behind a desk all day gives you itchy feet, this could be the job for you as you'll be required to spend significant time visiting veterinary practices and attending networking events.

Responsibilities Include
- Develop and strengthen relationships with primary care veterinarians to build and maintain a solid referral base to Angell's specialty services.
- Arrange and conduct on-site continuing education at referring veterinary practices alongside Angell veterinary specialists
- Communicate new service offerings to referring veterinarians.
- Track engagement and provide written reports summarizing referring veterinarian feedback and actionable take-aways.
- Represent Angell at veterinary tradeshows and continuing education networking events.
- Serve as a primary contact for referring veterinarians/practice owners to address questions or concerns related to referrals.
- Identify and implement opportunities to engage Angell alumni (former interns and residents) including content management of Angell's Alumni Facebook group.
- Provide content for Angell's e-communications with referring practices.
- Compile and analyze referral metrics by practice to identify trends and opportunities.
- Gain deep knowledge of Angell's specialties and services and work in collaboration with Angell's specialists and clinical teams.
- Contribute information to marketing strategy by monitoring services and offers of competitive specialty hospitals.
- Act in a supporting role for the production of the Angell Continuing Education program.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in veterinary marketing.
Skills/Requirements
- A love for animals
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 8 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in the Animal Health industry
- Client service oriented, self-starter with ability to initiate prospecting activities, calls, and face-to-face meetings
- Experience and comfort with public speaking
- Collaborative, highly organized and detail-oriented working style
- Curiosity and a growth-mindset, always exploring new ways to improve what we do
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and create reports using Microsoft Excel
- Dedication to follow-up communication to connect with constituents and act on feedback
- Initiative to propose ideas and solutions to problems
- Propensity for innovation and the pursuit of improvement
- Understanding of the importance of teamwork and honest and open communication
- Due to frequent in state travel, reliable transportation is necessary
- Experience in non-profit is a plus
