THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
- Support multiple cross-functional technical teams to deliver their objectives in fast-paced and complex programs and projects
- Develop strong partnerships with engineering leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
- Own and manage program and portfolio planning, execution of roadmap, and engineering operations for multiple verticals
- Drive alignment and prioritization across all technology initiatives, managing a unified roadmap and leading communications
- Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success
- Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
- Fill gaps across roles and functions as needed, acting as an adaptive problem solver
- Report on project status, roadmap progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans
- Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes shared understanding, transparency, and continuous learning
- Coach and mentor others in the best practices of modern planning and execution
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (Top 3 Must Haves)
- 5+ years of experience managing complex engineering programs
- Strong planning, tracking, and dependency management skills
- Ability to run meetings end-to-end, drive accountability, and manage multiple workstreams
- Deep understanding of modern SDLC including GitOps, CI/CD tooling, build and deployment processes, and APIs. (No need to be hands but just to have knowledge on these tools)
- Exposure to GitHub, integrated development environments like IntelliJ, PyCharm, VSCode
- Ability to parse technical conversations and identify critical decisions and actions
- Ability to identify risks through technical updates and discussions
- Skilled at articulating potential impact and driving risk mitigation plans
- Proven experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels
NICE TO HAVES
- Familiarity with Security Domain concepts and challenges
- Learning Mindset: Proactively reads industry trends, stays current with emerging technologies
- Cloud experience, particularly with AWS and GCP
- Experience working in highly collaborative environments via Slack and other team tools
