The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Provincial Realty Manager. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Space Planning in this key role, you will have the chance to shape and influence realty strategies and initiatives that impact the province's assets and infrastructure.

About the Team

The SaskBuilds and Procurement Ministry mandate includes oversight of all infrastructure projects and assets. The Operations & Service Delivery (OSD) division delivers infrastructure solutions that contribute to the province's growth and improve the quality of life of our citizens.

Our workplace is comprised of trusted collaborative leaders who provide the best infrastructure solutions for Saskatchewan, with the unique responsibility to lead the planning, design and delivery of very large, impactful projects. In line with this consolidated infrastructure plan, OSD also leads the government's real estate and space planning activities, federal infrastructure funding, and asset management.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Provincial Realty Manager, you will lead a team of Real estate professionals who are responsible for realty management services, including lease negotiations/transactions, property acquisition and disposal, lease administration and the preparation and analysis of lease proposal calls on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Space Planning and as a leader in the unit, you will provide strategic direction, guidance, and expertise in realty management to support the efficient and effective use of government assets across the province. This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. You will also lead the research and analysis on real estate markets and trends that impact the Division's investment decisions.

As a Senior Provincial Realty Manager, you will have:

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise of real estate practices, legislation, and regulations in Saskatchewan.
  • Contract law.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and achieving results.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Review, interpret, and evaluate financial/operations data in order to form conclusions and/or make recommendations on agreements/contracts.


Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation or Certified Leasing Officer (CLO) designation, supplemented by years' experience in the realty and construction development industry. An equivalent combination of related work experience and education may also be considered.
