We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to support large scale projects such as casinos, arenas, and stadiums with budgets ranging from $1 billion and above. This role involves coordinating and participating in pre-bid and takeoff meetings, overseeing the accuracy of take-offs, bid packages, and schedules of values, and reviewing and submitting change orders.
Responsibilities
This role offers a hybrid work environment with one remote day on Fridays. You will be working in a high-end construction consulting office, which is the largest cost management firm in NYC. The office environment is very professional, and you will have the opportunity to work on elaborate and large-scale projects. The company has a reputable name in the industry, great retention, and promotes from within. Equipment is provided by the firm. The hours are from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to support large scale projects such as casinos, arenas, and stadiums with budgets ranging from $1 billion and above. This role involves coordinating and participating in pre-bid and takeoff meetings, overseeing the accuracy of take-offs, bid packages, and schedules of values, and reviewing and submitting change orders.
Responsibilities
- Support large-scale projects such as casinos, arenas, and stadiums with budgets of $1 billion and above.
- Coordinate and participate in pre-bid and takeoff meetings to strategize the estimating process.
- Oversee and finalize all take-offs, bid packages, and schedules of values completed by estimators prior to submission to ensure accuracy.
- Review, finalize, and submit change orders.
- Collect and analyze project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, and tools to ensure estimates are accurate.
- Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.
- 8+ years of experience in construction estimating.
- Extensive experience with large-scale projects such as arenas, stadiums, and casinos.
- Background with major general contractors like Turner, AECOM, Skanska, Gilbane, Tutor, etc.
- Proficiency in Core & Shell construction, focusing on structural elements and exterior components.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Bluebeam.
- Proven ability to lead and train a team of Junior Estimators.
- Experience managing project budgets ranging from $1 billion to $2 billion.
- Proficiency with estimating software.
- Strong background in cost estimation and bidding.
