Pay: $57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Directs the ortho, and rehab service lines activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

The Ortho Rehab Spine Director plays a key role in the UCHealth's strategic and operational efforts by:

  • Oversees and leads operational activities in the inpatient rehab/spine department; works with multidisciplinary team to improve workflows for orthopedic/spine surgery patients from pre-admission through post discharge care. Work includes preparing, monitoring and evaluating departmental budgets to ensure that the department operations in compliance with allocated funding, as well as staffing, productivity, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Oversees and leads all outpatient rehabilitation services for the Longmont market, including addressing access to care and expansion of services.
  • Develops and implements Ortho and rehab service lines goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization. Partners closely with providers to ensure community needs are met.
  • Leads system acute care inpatient rehab committee, which includes implementation of value-based rehab, epic optimization inpatient work group, billing standardization, co-treatment standardization, and discharge recommendations.


The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Master's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive leadership.
