Purpose

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Enterprise Systems Engineerto join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of key system integrations that drive automation and improved efficiency across the organization. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to scope, build, and maintain data flows between enterprise systems at Divergent to create a single digital thread throughout the company's digital ecosystem. You will analyze business and technical problems and develop the appropriate framework to incorporate Master Data, and event driven and batch processing. In addition, as part of the Data Team, you will be involved with reporting, analyzing, and ensuring accurate data is available to the company's decision-makers.

You will work cross-functionally with Software Development, Enterprise Applications, Business Development, Program Management, Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality professionals to lead initiatives to meet enterprise established KPIs, provide strategic guidance on process improvement initiatives that support the achievement of strategic objectives defined in the company's Annual Operating Plans, promote speed of innovations and operational excellence, and develop strong business strategies to create synergies within organizations. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Data Integrations and Analytics.

The Role
  • Scope, deliver, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure integrations with internal and external systems to enhance engineering, operational, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Software Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers and IT team to deliver the development of sustainable and scalable solution architecture, fault-tolerant integration applications and efficient & effective operation and monitoring solutions.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional internal reviews with team leaders to ensure that program deliverables and milestones are well understood and schedules support customer requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system integrations and data usage in general.
  • Able to quickly develop a holistic understanding of the entire DAPS business enterprise and its current workflows and systems, primarily where sales, demand planning, operations planning, and program management intersects with manufacturing, production, and quality.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Math.
  • 5+ years of experience in system integration roles (advanced degrees can count towards years of experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Airflow, Temporal, Apache Camel etc.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and securing RESTful, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs, including expertise in authentication (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT), authorization, input validation, and rate limiting.
  • Demonstrated ability using SQL and Python / TypeScipt / JAVA / C++ or other similar programming languages.
  • Demonstrated experience with CICD pipelines (i.e. Github, Gitlab), cloud environments (i.e. Azure, GCP, AWS) and docker / Kubernetes environments.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, a motivated self-starter who can scope projects, meet deadlines, and work well in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a start-up, consulting, or similar high-growth, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience working with highly dynamic operations teams and ERP / MES tools (work order / purchase order / outsourcing / ticketing, asset capacity analysis, inventory management, shop floor management) used in a smart factory.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience interfacing with engineering and manufacturing groups to understand system designs and the associated constraints.
  • Graduate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Math, or related fields.
  • Experience working with Microsoft tools like Office, Fabric, Azure, PowerBI, etc.
Work Environment
  • Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations shifts.
  • Adhere to all statutory and regulatory requirements under code 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S.


Pay Range

$134,640-$185,130 USD
