OVERVIEW

A rapidly growing insurance company with configuration and insurance claims experience, and a strong reputation for customer satisfaction is seeking a Systems Administrator.   • Location: Northwest Chicago (also the possibility for central Chicago)
  • Job Type: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
  • Compensation: Starts at $95K+ (DOE) + benefits + opportunities for growth and development


WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Systems Administrator will play a key role in configuring and maintaining critical insurance systems, analyzing data to identify process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Configure and maintain core systems to support essential business operations and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement system enhancements
  • Thoroughly test system configurations to guarantee they meet business needs and adhere to established standards
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
  • Empower end-users through training and support on system functionalities, ensuring they can effectively utilize available tools and resources


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 2-5 years of experience in configuration and insurance systems, including claims systems, policy administration systems, or risk management information systems (Origami Risk preferred, but not required)
  • Track record of success with system configuration and process optimization
  • Outstanding ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with expertise in spreadsheet software and other relevant applications (strongly preferred)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field
