Who we're looking for

Toyota's Enterprise Center of Excellence (eCOE) Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated SAP & Ariba Procure to Pay (PTP) Business Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to gather requirements from various stakeholders, assess and document business requirements and work with functional leads to manage end to end delivery of SAP solutions and services for our organization.

Reporting to the eCOE Delivery PTP Manager, the person in this role will support the eCOE Delivery department's objectives to create and enforce SAP/Ariba best practices, standards and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality across our organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Project & Risk Management:
  • Identify potential enhancement and project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards in SAP/Ariba implementations.


2. Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a primary subject matter expert (SME) & point of contact (POC) for departments requesting SAP/Ariba enhancements or projects in the PTP space.
  • Act as Liaison across OneTech and business, such as Procurement (IPSS) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Understand requirements and ensure they are met through effective project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the business to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Perform testing in lower environment for eCOE led project and enhancement activities.
  • Support change communication to business stakeholders for eCOE led projects.
  • Create new training documentation and lead training sessions as required for eCOE led projects.


3. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Stay current with SAP & Ariba technologies and industry trends.


What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, information technology or a related field.
  • Prior experience as a business analyst in an SAP or Ariba environment, ideally with a focus in the procurement and/or account payables areas(procure to Pay).
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules that impact Procurement and/or Accounts Payables, such as Financial Accounting (FI), Materials Management (MM) or Sales & Distribution (SD).
  • Knowledge of Ariba modules, such as Buying and Invoicing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance & Spend Analytics.
  • Project Management experience including the ability to meet project milestones and execute associated tasks.
  • Strong understanding of requisitioning, invoicing, payments, supplier management and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Master's degree or MBA
  • SAP certification(s) relevant to the role (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
