This role involves managing the design, installation, and integration of electrical systems while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. The Electrical Manager will ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Oversight: Manage electrical systems in Fire Alarm, High Voltage, Mid Voltage, Low Voltage, Instrumentation, FMCS, and Power Turn-On for manufacturing facilities.
- Design Coordination: Work with design and engineering teams to review and approve electrical plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Construction Management: Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Supervise subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality installation of electrical components.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead system testing, inspections, and commissioning to verify functionality and performance.
- Schedule & Budget Adherence: Monitor electrical construction progress, control costs, and adjust plans as necessary to maintain budget and timeline.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with electrical installations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, test results, permits, and compliance certifications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electrical management for manufacturing or industrial facility construction.
- Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm, High Voltage, Mid Voltage, Low Voltage, and FMCS systems.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, and other industry regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines effectively.
PREFERRE D QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing construction projects.
- Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), LEED AP, or PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean Construction principles.
