Wells Fargo is seeking Operations Director who will be a critical thought leader and an execution leader for Lending Servicing within Commercial Bank Operations.
This role will be a part of the senior leadership team and will serve as a Chief of Staff, supporting the Head of Lending Servicing, as well as the Commercial Bank Operations.

Wells Fargo is seeking Operations Director who will be a critical thought leader and an execution leader for Lending Servicing within Commercial Bank Operations.
This role will be a part of the senior leadership team and will serve as a Chief of Staff, supporting the Head of Lending Servicing, as well as the Commercial Bank Operations.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a cross functional team of individual contributors focused on various horizontal functions like customer complaints and redress activities, self-service adoption, capacity management, location strategy etc.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Head of Lending Servicing, drive performance and initiatives, communicate priorities and key deliverables, and develop presentations to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development. Work with senior management to develop and execute business plans
- Coordinate across Lending Servicing to develop top-down and bottoms-up communication and information needs including strategic and tactical communications for the organization
- Facilitate various business routines and prepare formal presentations, including regular Town Halls, leadership offsites, leadership and regulatory meetings.
- Lead meetings, advisory councils, and cabinets (as appropriate) to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.
- Work with support partners like finance, HR, control & risk management, communications, events, and technology to ensure actions are completed timely.
- Engage with all levels of professionals and managers across lines of businesses to ensure clients and business needs are being fulfilled.
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience and/or understanding of Commercial Banking fundamentals, including product and service capabilities, organizational structure and alignment, and internal process/systems/data.
- Extensive global business and transformation experience.
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
- Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes.
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.
- Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships, promoting teamwork, and influencing others.
- Strong critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus.
- Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task and manage competing projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Significant prior experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
- Ability to present data and ideas in presentation form, including the ability to tell a story through words and pictures.
- Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions.
- Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
