Description:
Tyto Athene is looking for a Project Control Financial Analyst to be responsible for the day-to-day program finance function includes program setup, maintenance, tracking, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting of various contract types, size and complexity. This position will work closely with other departments such as program management, contracts, subcontracts, accounts payable, and billing. As a Financial Analyst, you will partner with the Operations and Accounting teams to provide timely and accurate financial guidance to Portfolio and Project Managers operating Tyto's Government Programs. You will also support ad-hoc and special projects spanning Program Improvement, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Executive Dashboards and Cost Optimization. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills working Program Leaders to help achieve targets, while growing your competencies in the areas of Program Management, Operations, FP&A and Accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Work in a team to ensure that projects are set up to properly capture costs, recognize revenue, and bill customers to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures with regard to project setup and update project information periodically as needed
- Perform routine and non-routine project financial reporting including but not limited to Project Profit and Loss Statements, Project Status Reports, 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, Invoice Backup Reports, and various other client-specific reports.
- Review timesheets, subcontractor invoices, funding statements, etc. to verify all entries are compliant with policies and procedures and captured appropriately
- Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and assessing contracts taking into consideration revenue recognition models and criteria
- Lead the financial reporting, analysis and forecasting for Government Portfolios/Projects.
- Consider factors such as revenue backlog, pipeline, project modifications, staffing changes, subcontractor costs, ODCs, overhead and SG&A costs, etc.
- Partner with leadership to help manage P&L
- Partner with Operations and Project managers to help manage projects
- Foster formal and informal communication networks between all stakeholders including but not limited to: Vertical Leadership, Operations Teams, Project Managers, Customers, Accounting, Contracts, Legal
- Ensure our team maintains close attention to detail, sense of urgency, and mission focus in delivering quality to clients and results for Tyto Athene
Required:
- Minimum 5+ years' related experience with some experience in GovCon doing financial analysis for programs
- Knowledge of government requirements and funding, including project tracking and reporting
- Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, CR, etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Outstanding communication skills
Desired:
- Experience with CostPoint reporting
- Experience in MS SharePoint or similar file-sharing applications
Compensation:
- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90K-$100k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
