Overview
The Financial Wellness Partner is responsible for managing and enhancing existing partnerships and identifying and creating new partnerships that drive membership and participation to the Credit Union. The Financial Wellness Partner collaborates with a broad range of Patelco internal stakeholders to ensure the Patelco Wellness at Work program supports and aligns with Patelco's overall growth strategy. This position will also support the delivery of campaigns, events, and benefits offered to partners.

Responsibilities
- Effectively present Patelco Credit Union as the preeminent credit union that empowers members to achieve financial freedom
- Promote the Credit Union's Mission, Vision, and Brand
- Have a thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services to promote Patelco to prospective members
- Cultivate, develop, and maintain referral sources that drive business to Patelco
- Play an active role in strategy development for external partnerships that will help Patelco Credit Union achieve its business and growth objectives while complementing and enhancing Patelco's brand
- Research, recommend, develop, and execute plans to effectively acquire new employer partners
- Track, analyze, and report on pipeline, activity, opportunities, and results
- Revise and implement short- and long-term business strategies to deepen partner engagement on a quarterly basis
- Negotiate high-level and complex partnerships and deliverables that support the Patelco Wellness at Work program
- Identify issues that affect the performance of partnerships, determine potential solutions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders for resolution, tracking and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Open new accounts and process or fund loans
- Provide answers and assistance for member questions and concerns, utilizing internal resources
- Work closely with Retail teams to execute the membership development strategy
- Serve as a liaison and partner to internal stakeholders to drive new partnerships, member acquisition, and product growth
- Develop and manage cross-functional plans, playing an active role in defining required tasks, ensuring they are documented, assigned, tracked, and completed on time
- Demonstrate a proactive, growth-mindset approach and commitment to process improvement
- Provide coaching and support for team members of the Membership Development department regarding partnership strategies
- Identify and execute events that promote the Patelco at Work program to potential prospects
- Work closely with business associations, Chambers of Commerce, and community partners to evangelize the Patelco at Work program
- Play an active role in campaign, communication, and marketing asset development that drives product participation
- Create and deliver sales and financial wellness presentations
- Develop a team spirit among subordinates and supervisors, motivating every team member to promote and maximize sales while providing the highest possible level of customer service
- Support the overall Membership Development strategy
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Management, Communications, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development or strategic alliance management in a financial services organization/ financial institution required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading cross-functional programs/projects that include key third party partnerships required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience establishing and managing strategic business partnerships.
- Proven track record of effective coordination of prospecting, maintaining client relationships, tracking activities, maintaining a contact database and related market research.
- Strong time management, organizational, presentation, written, verbal, interpersonal, project management, and analysis skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize information, job tasks and workload to consistently complete all work in a time sensitive manner, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within Patelco and external organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Excel); CRM is a plus.
Physical Activities/Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time and may work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
