Job Description
Job Title: Angio Tech/Radiology
Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (Variable days of the week, including weekends)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off one shift per two-week pay period
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
License: Accepts both Compact License or WA single state
Certifications: ARRT, WA Radiologic Technologist license
Must-Have:
- Experience in neuro-interventions (e.g., stroke, coils, AVMs)
- Experience with cardiac procedures (e.g., STEMI, PCI)
- Experience with vascular procedures (e.g., run-offs, TEVAR, EVAR)
Job Description:
- Start times and schedules vary, with schedules posted in advance on the 15th of every month.
- The role requires 4-5 call shifts per month, covering some 8 or 10-hour shifts.
- The daily caseload includes work across 4 Angio Suites and 2 operating rooms.
- Required to perform interventions such as cardiac STEMI and PCI, neuro-interventions involving diagnostic cerebrals, and vascular procedures including TEVAR and EVAR.
- Body procedures can include CVC placement, drains, and embolizations.
- Requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- First-time applicants are accepted.
- EPIC experience is preferred but not required.
- Clinicians may be required to float within the hospital to meet the facility's needs, but not to sister facilities.
- No block scheduling accommodation; local applicants are accepted without any difference in terms.
- Compliance deadlines are set approximately three business days prior to the start date. Orientation modules must be completed before starting, with EPIC modules during orientation.
- Orientation: 0 hours non-billable; Modules are non-billable except for EPIC module during orientation which is billable.
- Previous staff must be separated from the facility for 18 months before returning as a traveler.
