Job Summary

The Fund Services Group is looking for a seasoned Sr. IT Business Analyst to join our team. We have an ambitious portfolio of work we will accomplish together. In this fast-paced environment, we require a Sr. IT Business Analyst who has the necessary technical skills to compliment their skillsets to influence and lead in project environments. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with RBCIS leadership.

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?
  • Leads detailed design phases in partnership with key Operations, Client Solutions, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Architecture - May determine best mix of development, interfacing applications, third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.
  • Prepares high level and detailed specifications as necessary for small to medium projects in accordance with PMF, security and architecture documentation objectives.
  • Support the application enhancement development processes and provide guidance, thought leadership, continuous improvement, and commercial awareness.
  • Provide IT support for the business functional and system analysis work leading to technical development and implementation of key development projects within the assigned budget. Work with the business partners in Product, Client Operations, IT Project Managers and SMEs across Investor Services


What do you need to succeed?

Must Have
  • SME in Business and Technical environment of Investor Services Infrastructure, particularly the Fund Administration and Transfer agency domains.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Business Analysis and/or Consulting Experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and orally in English) with Clients, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
  • Business knowledge of financial institutions, understanding of fund accounting and transfer agency in order to be able to deliver. Preference is understanding of Investor Services specific business operations.
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions in business terms


Nice to Have
  • Good knowledge of supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry
  • Good understanding of Fund Administration and Transfer Agency business.
  • Good Knowledge of IT standards, Methodologies, CMM and audit requirements
