MSPCC, a division of Eliot, is seeking a seasoned, Master's Level, senior manager who is passionate about ensuring children in foster care join loving, nurturing, and stable foster and adoptive families. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in a supervisory capacity, extensive knowledge of the Department of Children and Families' services, a commitment to supporting foster and pre-adoptive families and success in navigating complex systems of care.
MSPCC's Kid's Net provides a range of services to connect foster and kinship families to information, resources, respite and support networks they need to address the unique challenges that come with raising foster children. Kid's Net engages foster families through trainings, support groups, as well as recreational experiences that families enjoy together. Kid's Net supports the Massachusetts Alliance For Families (MAFF), an organization of foster parents who advocate for the rights of foster children and families.
MSPCC's Adoption Services facilitate the adoption process for foster children who cannot be returned to their biological parents by screening and providing training for prospective adoptive parents, conducting home visits, and helping to match children and families. Post-adoption, MSPCC's Adoptive Families Together offers continued training, education and support for adoptive parents.
Responsibilities:
Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm
Location: Statewide. Offices in various locations.
Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of program service delivery which provides wraparound services for DCF foster parents and adoption home-studies and support services.
- Work with Director of Prevention Services to develop and monitor budgets for assigned programs and make the necessary adjustments on an ongoing basis.
- Provide and document regular supervision with assigned program directors
- Facilitate regular Kid's Net Regional Director meetings to discuss issues, trends and solutions to carrying out the delivery of contracted services to foster families.
- Meet quarterly with the DCF Contract Manager to review data, events, activities and overall functioning of the Kid's Net program
- Work with MAFF and Agency's Public Relations staff to produce quarterly newsletters for DCF foster families and DCF staff
- Manage all aspects of Kid's Net on-call including scheduling, documentation and communications with DCF
- Work with Kid's Net Regional Directors and DCF to coordinate regional and statewide trainings for foster families
