Your Impact

You'll play a key role in delivering insights that drive smarter financial decisions. By analyzing enterprise costs, trends, and scenarios, you'll help shape strategies and improve processes that support financial transparency and operational efficiency across the organization.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

  • Analyze costs and trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and benchmarking analysis.
  • Act as the primary contact for cost tools and reporting processes.
  • Lead training sessions and support teams with data-driven insights.
  • Assess and improve legacy processes to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance teams globally to communicate cost impacts.
  • Run scenario analysis to evaluate financial outcomes.


Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced certifications (PE, CPA, CFA, PMP, CA) are a plus.
  • Experience in mining industry with costing, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and/or reporting.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, financial modeling, and storytelling through data trends and insights.
  • Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), defining trends, conveying operating and financial results.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional relationships and provide end-user support.
  • Solid project management skills and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $110,160 - $144,585. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
