Launched in August 2022, Winners Alliance serves as the for-profit affiliate of the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), World Cricketers' Association (WCA), EuroLeague Players Association (ELPA), and Grand Slam Track, representing the group commercial rights of hundreds of athletes worldwide. Among its pioneering initiatives, Winners Alliance aims to establish a sustainable group licensing program encompassing video games, trading cards, collectibles, and related opportunities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Account Manager, Licensing to join our growing team. This role will focus on managing and growing relationships with current and future licensees-ensuring seamless execution of product initiatives and ongoing partner success.

This is a client-facing role that requires experience in account management, licensing, and working with athletes, agents, and commercial partners. You will be the day-to-day relationship lead for our licensing partners and will also support onboarding, process development, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:Account Management & Partner Relationships
  • Own and lead day-to-day relationships with all current licensees.
  • Schedule and lead weekly check-ins with partners, ensuring progress on licensed products and initiatives.
  • Serve as the escalation point for partner needs, stepping in after initial outreach by the Licensing Coordinator.
  • Build strong relationships with licensees to drive long-term value and engagement.


Onboarding & Process Improvement
  • Lead the onboarding process for all newly signed licensees after initial contract execution.
  • Develop and implement a repeatable, scalable onboarding system (moving away from current bespoke approach).
  • Ensure alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners on expectations and deliverables.


Talent & Agent Collaboration
  • Collaborate with agents and athlete representatives to support execution of licensing programs.
  • Oversee the athlete approval process managed by the Licensing Coordinator.
  • Facilitate athlete participation in partner campaigns (e.g., social content, product reveals, or appearances).


Operational & Financial Support
  • Collaborate with the finance team and Licensing Coordinator on royalty reporting and forecasting.
  • Monitor financial performance of licensees and track key contract deliverables.


Industry Engagement & Business Development
  • Attend key licensing events (e.g., Licensing Expo) to support business development initiatives and deepen industry relationships.
  • Bring a strategic mindset to uncover new licensing opportunities and growth areas.


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in licensing, sports marketing, or account management.
  • Previous experience working with licensed products, ideally in trading cards, mobile games, or consumer products.
  • Background in sports licensing and talent management strongly preferred.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and drive results across external and internal teams.
  • Deep attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Experience working directly with athletes, agents, or athlete representatives is a plus.

Compensation:We offer a competitive salary ($120,000-$130,000), bonus, fully paid health benefits, a 401(k) match, and an equity component.
