Description

Assist managers in developing category strategies and resourcing initiatives. The primary functions are to become a sourcing process expert, be able to translate information from the category managers into system documents (e.g. contracts, purchase orders, material master information etc), help analyze sourcing data (Business warehouse, Qlikview, etc.) trouble shoot data and information issues with other Supply Chain groups.The Analyst must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage activities across multiple projects. The candidate must be well organized, have the ability to work independently, be resourceful and inquisitive, be able to plan and make decisions quickly, and solve problems based on factual information and innovative solutions. Being a quick learner to become comfortable and savvy with basic systems (ie. SAP) is a must.- Conduct spend analysis for category, support category managers with data cleansing and working with other functional areas to resolve discrepancies in the data- Support analysis of commodity tracking and resin trends- Analyze PPV report on a monthly basis, resolve any potential data issues with category managers- Create and maintain tracking template for all new business awards, and share results on a monthly basis- Support category managers with category and supplier profile development/maintenance- Support category managers with data analysis for Supply Chain category model work- Support ad hoc requests for data analysis with category team- Issue supplier approval request form when required for new supplier to complete.- Process SAP data entry forms into SAP/ECC system.- Process Tooling and Misc Po forms into SRM system.- Maintain Value Analysis Data base.- Coordinate with Data Stewards any Supplier information requiring changes.- Action SAP Pre PPV report after category manager reviews - Initiate and manage RFQ's (Request for Quote) as needed to suppliers for potential resourcing projects on behalf of the category managers- Process RFQ with appropriate documents, (e.g. costing specifications, final specifications, and drawings)- Analyze supplier bids and present results to category manager- Develop strong relationships and communications within Procurement organization and Supplier community to drive GSR strategic initiatives. Collaborate with category managers and other Analysts for optimal results and growth within the Procurement Organization.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.Strong Computer Skills in Excel, Word, applications in Project Management systems.Excellent data management/analysis skills.SAP experience preferred and/or ERP system.Bachelor's Degree5 % travel

Pay Range:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $94,000.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
