Description:
Key Responsibilities but not limited to: Function as product owner for assigned system to include triage bug fixes, log enhancement requests, develop use cases, and write system enhancement requirements. Participates in system testing and upgrades. Represent product priorities to development team. Assist QA/QI with both individual research-related audits and statistical analysis of research-related activities as needed by the Director. Handle IT forensics for staff (IE: identify and recommend fixes for system bugs, human error, bad business process, etc.). Assist staff in writing, editing, designing, and presenting complex business communications. Recommend both functional and strategic improvements to the system. Directs Clinical Research Training coordinator on system training. Participates in system integration planning and roll out processes. Gathers and documents reporting requirements from end users. Provides project management support to implementation. Documents and communicates relevant changes to the system.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of related experience managing, training, and coaching staff on both business and IT-related processes and demonstrated expertise in both business analysis and project management. Experience with developing and implementing training for software. Highly computer literate. Must be able to effectively communicate with business users and information technology professionals.
Preferred Qualifications: Project and/or product management certification. High level of technical knowledge/expertise. Report writing experience. Knowledge of research administration processes and specific knowledge of clinical trials highly desirable.
