Overview
The Dartmouth Health Manchester-Bedford Obstetrics, Gynecology & Nurse-midwifery team is seeking a Certified Nurse-midwife (CNM) to join a busy practice with eight board eligible OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, two women's health nurse practitioners and one physician's assistant with a supportive administration team. Our midwives are highly respected and the midwifery model of care is at the center of way we deliver healthcare.
This is a full time, full scope midwifery position, averaging 36 clinical hours per week divided between the office and hospital setting. Our collaborative practice model involves working 12-hour shifts, with our physician colleagues, while providing inpatient care. In the outpatient setting, our midwives provide pregnancy and postpartum care, gynecologic healthcare including preconception care, family planning services, sexual and reproductive healthcare. Our midwives also assist with the education of 2nd year obstetric residents from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and precepting of nurse-midwifery students.
Our collaborative practice group covers one busy community hospital providing comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology & nurse-midwifery services with 24/7 midwifery care for patients in the Bedford/Manchester region of New Hampshire, attending approximately 800 deliveries per year.
Our office offers comprehensive obstetrics, gynecology and nurse-midwifery care with on-site laboratory and imaging, access to genetic counselors, maternal fetal medicine physicians and Dartmouth Health subspecialists.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
- Certified Nurse Midwife licensed to practice in the State of New Hampshire
- Board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Federal DEA
- Cesarean First Assist (will train if needed)
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
- National specialty certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
