Paralegal

Overall Purpose: To support our private labor and employment law team, working in single plaintiff claims and actions, and class and representative actions.

Essential Job Duties:

• Manage assigned cases with the ability to perform the full range of litigation paralegal tasks from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial and case closure
• Assist in the preparation of subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, including responses such as form interrogatories, special interrogatories and requests for production of documents
• Perform document review and productions
• Provide support for dispositive motions, exhibits and citations
• Conduct background and social media searches
• Prepare timelines, chronologies, and summaries of depositions and document productions

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Paralegal Certificate required; bachelor's degree, preferred
• 5+ years of law firm experience, preferred
• Proficient using Excel with the ability to perform data entry, formatting, formulas, tabs, etc.
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and follow instructions from a diverse group of attorneys in a professional and businesslike manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent client service
• Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data
• All other duties as required

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
