Key job responsibilities
We're looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to take on a leadership role in shaping the strategy and execution for Clarity and our Gen AI capabilities. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to guide cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end program lifecycles, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, large-scale solutions. You'll partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into actionable technical strategies, defining roadmaps, aligning on requirements, and leading teams through complex technical challenges to achieve impactful outcomes.
In addition to driving the overall program strategy, you will own the delivery of large-scale, data-driven products, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in software development and management, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, data-driven solutions in complex, fast-paced environments.
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional technical programs with global impact, and a demonstrated ability to drive strategic, high-impact outcomes.
- Strong technical acumen, with hands-on experience working with engineering, data science, and UX teams to deliver large-scale, AI-powered products.
- Expertise in managing and mitigating technical risks across large programs, ensuring timely and quality delivery of product milestones.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with large-scale Gen AI product development, particularly using AWS technologies such as Bedrock, SageMaker, or OpenSearch.
- Expertise in people analytics, HR tech, or workforce management, with an understanding of how data and insights drive business and HR decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams through the technical challenges of building and scaling data-driven products.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies and managing iterative cycles across cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear product strategies and business value.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (MBA), or a related technical field.
- Passion for building innovative products that positively impact large, diverse organizations and drive strategic business outcomes at scale.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
