Your Impact
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Services Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of distributed generation (DG) solar assets across the West Coast region. This leadership role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance within a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar energy systems. You will lead a geographically distributed team of field technicians, subcontractors, and service providers, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performance delivery of services across a variety of customer sites.

You will lead a geographically distributed team of field technicians, subcontractors, and service providers, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performance delivery of services across a variety of customer sites.
Core Responsibilities
- Regional Leadership: Manage and lead regional O&M operations for DG solar assets across CA, WA, OR, and surrounding areas.
- Team Management: Direct, mentor, and develop field service technicians and contractors to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Asset Performance: Ensure optimal uptime and performance of all assigned assets; proactively identify and resolve underperformance issues.
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers in the region; provide reporting, insights, and solutions as needed.
- Service Delivery: Oversee preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, emergency response, and system inspections across all sites.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety procedures and regulations.
- Budget & Forecasting: Manage regional P&L; track performance against budgets, drive cost efficiency, and support contract compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline field operations, improve documentation, and adopt new technologies.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, asset management, customer success, and procurement teams.

Core Experience
- 5+ years of experience in solar operations & maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or regional management role
- Deep understanding of distributed generation solar systems (rooftop, carport, and small ground-mount systems)
- Strong working knowledge of solar monitoring platforms, inverters, combiner boxes, and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience managing remote teams and subcontractors across multiple locations
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and customer expectations
- Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70E training preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% across the West Coast
Physical/Work Environment

- NABCEP PV Installation or O&M Certification
- Experience with CMMS and asset management platforms
- Familiarity with C&I solar project lifecycles, warranties, and performance guarantees
