What We're Looking For:
BargeDesign Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Manager of TalentAcquisition to lead strategic recruiting efforts across the company, focusingon technical talent acquisition within the AEC industry-particularly in civilengineering and project management. This role is instrumental in expanding ouremployer brand into new markets, building talent pipelines, and leading ahigh-performing team of recruiters. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, theSenior Manager will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership and businessunit managers, providing talent insights, presenting recruitingperformance data, and supporting firm-wide workforce planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of recruiters and sourcers focused on hiring top AEC talent, especially civil engineers and engineering project managers.
  • Design and implement strategic recruiting initiatives to attract high-impact talent in existing and emerging markets.
  • Partner with operational and business leaders to understand workforce needs and align hiring plans with firm goals.
  • Present recruiting data, talent market trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and management teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies to source and engage talent for infrastructure, transportation, site development, and water sector roles.
  • Create an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company at industry events, university engagements, and career fairs.
  • Collaborate with the People Team on internal mobility, branding initiatives, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement. Contribute to talent strategy efforts that support proposal responses, workforce forecasting, and competitive positioning.


Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related AEC field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in recruiting within AEC fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Deep familiarity with sourcing civil engineers, project managers, and other technical professionals in the AEC space.
  • Demonstrated success in competitive and emerging talent markets.
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) or similar ATS, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to present complex information to executives and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage recruiting projects from strategy through execution.
  • Passion for building teams that serve clients, communities, and employees with excellence.
  • Experience with project-based or contract staffing models.
  • Experience as an agency producer leading a team of recruiters (Trained, Mentored, Proven Success).
  • Confidence in your ability to adapt to a particularly high-caliber industry.
  • Target-driven and self-motivated with an innate resilience.
  • Strong Coaching and Recruiting Skills
