Job Summary
As a Senior Equipment Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the installation and integration of manufacturing tools and equipment. This includes defining installation requirements, coordinating cross-functional hand-offs, developing tool packages, and ensuring successful deployment into production. The ideal candidate will facilitate collaboration between Process engineers (PE), Equipment Engineers (EE), and Facilities to establish preventive maintenance (PM) specifications, and ensure spare parts readiness while providing critical schedule inputs to the master schedule. Over time, this role may evolve into tool ownership responsibilities, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to bend, reach, twist, turn and climb normally associated with construction work.
Will be exposed to areas where hand tools and power tools are being operated.
Will be exposed to areas where hazardous chemicals or gases are stored.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds unassisted.
Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry a minimum of SO pounds on a periodic basis throughout the shift
Ability to perform activities that include climbing vertical ladders, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and crawling
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirements
Safety Requirements

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Equipment Installation & Coordination
- Manage the end-to-end tool installation process, ensuring alignment with operational and engineering requirements.
- Define and document installation requirements, ensuring compliance with manufacturing and safety standards.
- Coordinate hand-offs between Process Engineers (PE) and Equipment Engineers (EE) to ensure a seamless transition from installation to operational readiness.
- Create comprehensive tool packages, including technical specifications, integration plans, and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) specifications and spare parts lists to support long-term tool reliability.
- Transition to (EE) toolset owner.
Project Planning & Execution
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to finalize tool installation strategies and execution plans.
- Provide schedule inputs to support integration into the master schedule, ensuring alignment with production timelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical and logistical challenges during installations.
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to established schedules and budgets.
Tool Ownership & Sustaining Engineering
- Over time, assume ownership of installed tools, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing performance.
- Monitor tool health and reliability, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Support factory transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline equipment installation workflows.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in equipment installation, manufacturing engineering, or a related role.
- Experience managing tool installations, including coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in developing tool packages, preventive maintenance plans, and spare parts strategies.
- Prior experience working with process and electrical engineers in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Other Requirements
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple installations simultaneously.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, including tool specifications and installation procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation-related challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional meetings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adapting to evolving priorities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for equipment installations and safety compliance.
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
