Amazon Health Services (AHS) is searching for a talented Healthcare Compliance Senior Risk Manager to help us evolve the technology and processes needed to operate a world class compliance program. This role will partner closely with Amazon Health Services inclusive of Amazon Pharmacy and One Medical teams to optimize key elements of an effective compliance program for all the partner services and payer relations products. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex industry relationships by evaluating regulatory risk, identifying compliant solutions to complicated contract requirements with third party payers, HUBs, and digital health companies, and enabling our business partners to prioritize and address compliance requirements.

Support the development of policies and procedures.
Be a subject matter expert on federal, state and local healthcare regulatory rules and regulations.
Regularly consult the business on the applicability to the business.
Review vendor agreements with focus on federal and state regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, CMS compliance, Stark and Anti-Kickback risk, and state regulations.
Partner cross functionally to assist with validating risks and establish a robust system for mitigation of risk with an emphasis on closed-loop root cause analysis and corrective actions for applicable products.

Provide preventative actionable compliance guidance to various stakeholders utilizing subject matter expertise in federal, state and local rules and regulations.
Assess business processes and systems to identify any additional compliance risks.
Present reports to the leadership team related to identified findings and risks.
Support development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
Propose action plans to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and/or internal policies and procedures.
About the team
Our team is dedicated to ensuring regulatory compliance across key areas of Amazon's health services operations. The Amazon Health Services Business Compliance team is a critical unit within Amazon's rapidly expanding healthcare division.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Knowledge of Healthcare Laws & Regulations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- 2+ years in Pharmaceutical HUB or Specialty Drug industry and/or Retail Healthcare settings.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
