Description:
We are seeking a strategic Principal Product Marketing leader to drive the transformation of Amazon Ads' portfolio positioning and go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will architect and execute comprehensive marketing messaging frameworks that elevate our narrative from individual product solutions to powerful portfolio themes that address critical industry challenges. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling, customer-centric stories that simplify complex advertising solutions and drive perception change among key customer segments. Additionally, you'll work cross functionally to drive effective GTM strategies, reporting regularly to leadership and stakeholders on success metrics, continuously refining approach.
The ideal candidate will combine deep marketing expertise with strategic thinking to:
- Lead the development and implementation of portfolio-level marketing themes that connect multiple products to solve broader customer challenges
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent narrative execution across all customer touchpoints
- Transform how we communicate our value proposition to move beyond point solutions to integrated portfolio storytelling
- Drive integrated go-to-market strategies that resonate with senior marketing decision-makers
- Leverage industry insights, customer feedback, and market intelligence to continuously refine our positioning

Key job responsibilities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional storyteller who excels at crafting compelling messaging frameworks, narratives, and strategy documents
- 10+ years of experience working in the advertising/marketing technology industry
- Track record of driving successful product launches and enhancing or managing the full product adoption lifecycle
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without direct authority
- Passion for understanding customer needs and advocating for the voice of the customer
- Technical acumen and ability to understand complex product concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
- Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution
- 9+ years of relevant experience in product management, GTM, marketing, or comparable roles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
