Description As a Deployment & Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager, you will: * Plan and execute deployment activities for both internal (e.g. labs, AIS teams, Apple partners) and external (e.g. factory) users, including schedule management, resourcing plan, onboarding process, issue resolution. Etc., * Drive integration with other tools/teams for deployment success, such as helping to define deployment SOPs, submission of development enhancements for continued growth, etc., * Provide documentation and other resources for potential clients/partners (internal and external), and internal team assisting in the deployment and adoption of product and services * Oversee material drive strategy, build matrix development, build tracking and management, issue resolution, scheduling resources for DOE (design of experiments) and other factory activities. *Collaborate with MPM and GSM teams to ensure pricing and and vendor selection meets the needs of the program * Oversee factory operations, including personnel and resourcing, transition planning, access and management of internal Apple process tools; and operational coordination such as station evaluation, rate of production, equipment driving (CapEx approvals), line and warehouse operations * Establish and maintain budget for factory activities, including HW cost rollup, tooling costs, deployment related shipments, etc., provide actualization and forecast reporting for approval * Manage certification activities, including technical & inbox documents, artwork, testing software, resulting reports for multiple geo-regions * Incorporate safety, environmental, export, customs, legal, marketing, and other logistical areas to ensure a smooth transition to mass production

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years in a role leading multi-functional teams in product development (e.g. Program / Project Management, or Business Analysis)
- 4 years of technical program management and/or experience covering as many of the following as possible: a large-scale and international user base, real-time streaming data pipelines, hardware development, software development, NPI project management, manufacturing, logistics
- Experience with overseeing controls, business processes, testing, training, and remediation
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage, prioritize, and lead multi-functional teams under pressure
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization with technical and non-technical people
- Flexibility and agility in handling priority changes and multiple tracks of work
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external collaborative relationships
- Ability to self-organize, drive actions, and keep teams focused on the right priorities to meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced environment that is highly collaborative
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in a role leading multi-functional teams in product development (e.g. Program / Project Management, or Business Analysis)
- 5+ years of technical program management and/or experience covering as many of the following as possible: a large-scale and international user base, real-time streaming data pipelines, hardware development, software development, NPI project management, manufacturing, logistics
- Agile / Scrum Certification a plus
- PMP and related project management certifications a plus
