POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Engage in promoting or creating an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations. May write or select material for release to various communications media. Assist the project IPT lead with media queries and releases, working with industry partners and stakeholders in communicating a consistent message. Skilled in managing competing priorities, deadlines, projects, and serves as a qualified professional in journalism, communications, and graphic design.
**This position is contingent upon contract award.**

Requirements
Education
- BA/BS degree in relevant technical field.
- Allowable Substitution: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Experience
- Required Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Desired Experience: At least one (1) year experience of NAVAIR / DoD public affairs interaction.
Security
- Active TS//SCI clearance with current background investigation is desired.
- At minimum, Active Top-Secret clearance with current background investigation is required.
