What this job involves:

The Facilities Analyst role involves supporting Regional Operations & Performance Manager through data collection and analysis from diverse sources. This role will also entail providing support for facility-related projects, like space planning and energy efficiency initiatives. Additionally, the Facilities Analyst will develop presentations to effectively communicate with stakeholders, manage client relationships, and engage with stakeholders across the organization. A key aspect of this role is the commitment to continuous improvement of processes and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including building management systems (BMS), work order systems, energy consumption meters, and other relevant databases.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as energy usage, maintenance costs, space utilization, and environmental impact.
    • Conduct data mining and statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in facility operations.
    • Prepare data visualizations (charts, graphs, maps) to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide data-driven support for facility-related projects, such as space planning, energy efficiency initiatives, and capital improvement projects.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and prepare feasibility studies to support decision-making on facility investments.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to improve facility performance and efficiency.
  • Presentation Development:
    • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Tailor presentations to the audience and effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Utilize data visualization techniques to enhance the impact and clarity of presentations.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Comply with all requirements of the client contract and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Deliver an exceptional quality of service, as reflected by client feedback.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including facility managers, engineers, finance teams, and senior leadership.
    • Proactively identify and address stakeholder needs and concerns.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve data analysis processes, reporting methodologies, and presentation techniques.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in facility management and data analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Data Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or business analyst role, preferably within the facilities management or real estate industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and impactful presentations.
  • Experience with building management systems (BMS) and work order management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and green building practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies is a plus.

  • Prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related fields preferred.
  • Knowledgeable local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities and vendor management for specialized services is advantageous.
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of property (computer room air-conditioning, chiller system, fire protection system, mechanical & electrical system) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms; proficiency in english required.
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively deal with stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated; confident, energetic and flexible.


Estimated total compensation for this position:

85,800.00 - 105,100.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
