Primary Responsibilities
The Vice President of Financial Shared Services & Systems will lead and optimize our financial operations. This executive will oversee financial shared services, including accounts payable and accounts receivable while driving the evolution of financial systems to support business growth and efficiency. The role will work cross-functionally to enhance automation, improve process standardization, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in financial operations, technology integration, and shared services management. Essential Functions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead and oversee Financial Shared Services functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for financial systems, optimizing automation, integration, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance leadership to enhance financial system capabilities, including ERP platforms and automation tools.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, tax regulations, and corporate financial policies.
- Oversee financial data governance, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Manage vendor relationships for financial software and outsourced financial services.
- Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and system integrations, ensuring smooth financial transitions.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of financial shared services.
- Partner with senior leadership to align financial systems strategy with broader business goals.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead and manage teams to achieve company objectives.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in financial shared services, financial systems management, or corporate finance leadership.
- Extensive experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and financial process automation.
- 8+ years of leadership experience in managing large teams and cross-functional initiatives.
