Why Join Our Team? Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to work as an Assistant Nurse Manager within the Surgical Care Unit. The SCU (Surgical Care Unit) is a 36 bed medical-surgical unit with a specialized focus on patients receiving inpatient surgical interventions. A portion of the unit, the Jim Craigie Center for Joint Replacement, is a dedicated use area for total hip and knee replacement patients. The Surgical Care Unit is certified as a Bariatric Center of Excellence and Joint Commission Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement Center. Scheduling Requirements: You will be required to work three (12-hour) night shifts per week. You will also be required to work at least three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Key Roles and Responsibilities: ANM's are primary administrative support to the staff and managers. In addition, they have clinical operations, quality compliance responsibilities and unit patient flow Facilitates leadership roles of professional and support staff. What We Require for this Role: Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of Related Work Experience 15 months of RN experience required 1 year of charge nurse/ANM experience preferred.
